Mills 50 Historic Homes Tour is Saturday, November 11!

The Mills 50 Historic Home tour includes six homes located in the Mills 50 neighborhoods. You will tour classic bungalows and other traditional style homes built between the 1920’s & 1950’s. A limited number of tickets are available. Tickets are $35 in advance ($40 day of the tour) at www.orlandoweeklytickets.com/events/48707468/mills-50-historic-homes-tour and include the tour and an after party at The Guesthouse from 5pm until 7pm. Your ticket entitles you to a craft cocktail and appetizers from Black Rooster Taqueria. Attendees are to meet at Colonialtown Neighborhood Center starting at 12:30pm to receive a tour map & tour program.

This event will include ten of the best local and regional acts, local food, vendors and fun activities for all!  Limited edition craft beers will be brewed and available at Ten10 Fest!  A portion of the proceeds will benefit Mills 50!

Celebrate the First Day of Fall at our Pub Crawl!

Friday, September 22 is the Annual First Day of Fall Pub Crawl, starting at 6pm.  Purchase a wristband for $5 at either Wally’s or Ten 10 Brewing Company and receive drink specials at: BART, Lil Indies, St. Matthew’s Tavern, Ten 10 Brewing Company, The Brass Tap – Mills Park, The Guesthouse, Wally’s & Will’s Dirty Laundry.

Orlando Main Streets Restaurant Week

The third annual Orlando Main Streets Restaurant Week will take place from Friday, August 4 through Saturday, August 12.  Seven Mills 50 restaurants – Black Rooster Taqueria, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Hawkers Asian Street Fare, Maxine’s on Shine, Pop Thai, Shin Jung Korean Restaurant and Ten 10 Brewing Company – will participate.  You may find their menus along with other participating Main Street restaurants at: www.orlandomainstreets.com/restaurantweek

First Watch – Mills Park is hosting the 4th annual “Breakfast for Dinner” on Thursday, May 18 from 5:30 til 7pm.  Suggested donation is $20 and funds raised will be used for beautification projects in Mills 50.  Celebrity servers include Ricky Ly of Tasty Chomps, Orlando City Commissioner Patty Sheehan, Orlando City Commissioner Robert Stuart and Eric Rollings, Chair of the Orange Soil and Water Conservation District.  Seating is limited to 75 people.  Please RSVP to: director@mills50.orgbreakfast for dinner 2017
