Orlando Love Fest is all about LOVE!  Love of music….love of art….love of food…love for each other…and it is happening on Sunday, January 29 from 11am until 5pm in front of Quantum Leap Winery, 1312 Wilfred Drive.  DJ Cliff from REMIX will be spinning your favorite tunes from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s!  Enjoy live music from Texas Outlaw Jerry J, Beemo, Atlas Moon and Milk Carton Superstars!  The Guesthouse will be on site serving your favorite libations.  Kona Dog food truck will be there along with dozens of vendors and non-profit organizations – all spreading the love!  Thanks to our sponsors: Mainline Marketing, Quantum Leap Winery, Tito’s Vodka and Track Shack.  Vendor applications are still available by e-mailing: director@mills50.org.

The 2017 Mills 50 calendar, which features murals throughout the District, including Pulse tribute murals and “You Matter” murals, makes a great stocking stuffer for family, friends and business associates.  The calendars are only $5 and are available at Great Escape Frame & Art, 1207 N. Fourteen of your favorite bars and restaurants are participating in the annual Approximately 12 Pubs of Christmas Pub Crawl on Saturday, December 3 starting at 8pm.  You may purchase wristbands for $10 (cash only) at Wally’s and GB’s Bottle Shop.  Your wristband entitles you to specials at the participating “pubs!”  O-Cartz will be available to help you navigate the neighborhood!

The Annual Approximately 12 Pubs of Christmas Pub Crawl, featuring specials at 14 bars & restaurants, takes place on Saturday, December 3 starting at 8pm!  Purchase your wristband for $10 (cash only, please) at either Wally’s or GB’s Bottle Shop and you will be able to take advantage of specials at Restaurant ASH, Wally’s, Lil Indies/Will’s Dirty Laundry, BART, St. Matthew’s Tavern, Pig Floyd’s Urban Barbakoa, The Guesthouse, The Brass Tap – Mills Park, Ten10 Brewing, gotkarma, Santiago’s Bodega, The Matador, Thirsty Topher & GB’s Bottle Shop.

Won’t you donate to the Fern Creek Elementary food pantry?  Each weekend, the students are sent home with a snack pack to ensure they won’t go hungry!  Mills 50 volunteers will be collecting food donations on Sunday, September 18 from noon until 3pm in the parking lot at the corner of Mills and Oregon (across Oregon from Track Shack)!  Please bring sIngle serve helpings, granola bars, raisins, peanut butter crackers, tuna, peanut butter, soups!
