Mills 50 and Ivanhoe Village team up to present the “Twelve Pubs of Christmas” Pub Crawl on Saturday, December 8 from 8pm until ???!  Wristbands can be purchased for $10 at Wally’s in Mills 50 and Savoy in Ivanhoe Village!  With a wristband you will receive drink specials at Funky Monkey Wine Company, Wally’s, Will’s Pub, lil indies, BART, The Peacock Room, The Hideaway, The Venue, The Caboose, The Imperial, White Wolf and Savoy!  Show your wristband at the John Lennon Christmas Tribute Party and receive a discount on admission.  And….there will be O-Cartz available to transport you between the two districts!  Don’t miss it!!!!

Mills 50 art boxes win “BEST PUBLIC ART”!

Mills 50 art boxes were voted Best Public Art in the Orlando Weekly’s 2012 Best of Orlando Readers Poll! Many thanks to our artists, design committee, judges and City of Orlando for making this project happen!!

Looking for a fun family activity? Participate in the Orlando Urban Trail Family 5K!

The newly constructed Orlando Urban Trail is hosting a 5K that the whole family can enjoy! Take a walk or run along what was once the Dinky Line Trail and enjoy the City of Orlando with your loved ones. This free event will be held Thursday July 12, 2012 with the race beginning at 5:30 pm near the Mennello Museum, 900 East Princeton Street.

Mills Park will break ground in September!

At a neighborhood meeting held Monday, June 11, representatives of DeBartolo Development and Forge Capital partners announced that the long awaited Mills Park at the corner of Mills & Virginia will include The Fresh Market as a prime tenant.  The mixed use development will have 72,000 sf of retail space; 177,000 sf of office space and 310 apartments.  The ground breaking for the apartments is September with a December groundbreaking for Fresh Market.  Construction will take 18 to 22 months, with Fresh Market set to open in November 2013.
