This free community event, sponsored by The Nickley Group, celebrates all things love – love of art, food, music, the environment and each other! Enjoy music by Beemo, Brews Clues and Texas Outlaw Jerry J! Grab a beer from the Ten 10 Brewing tent, cocktails from The Guesthouse bar or wine & cider from Quantum Leap Winery! Enjoy food from Let’s Dough It pizza, Cholo Dogs and Anna’s Empanadas, treats from Kona Ice and Phat Ash Bakes as you shop dozens of local vendors featuring candles, stained glass, dream catchers, tea, jewelry, art and much more! This is a family & dog friendly event!

Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit!




The Dragon Parade on Sunday, February 5 at 11am celebrates the Year of the Rabbit.
Dozens of parade units, including Wah Lum Temple, Universal Orlando, Taiko Dojo, the Dueling Dragons Dragon Boat team & Karate of Orlando will participate. Dignitaries include U.S. Congressman Maxwell Frost, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, City Commissioner Patty Sheehan, City Commissioner Robert Stuart, State Representative Anna Eskamani, Orlando Police Chief Eric Smith, Orlando Fire Chief Charlie Salazar and Orange County Sheriff John Mina. Enjoy entertainment along the parade route.

7th Annual Mills 50 Artist Series

The 7th Annual Mills 50 Artist Series, which features bottles of wine handpainted by local artists, is Tuesday, December 6 from 6pm until 9pm at Quantum Leap WIne. You may bid on the bottles along with several amazing baskets – including “A Taste of Mills 50”, “Shop til you Drop”, “Drink around the District” and “It’s All About Me”, at the silent auction. DJ Frankie from Apartment E Live will be spinning your favorite tunes. Beer, wine & cider will be available for sale. Appetizers will be provided by Quantum Leap. Please attend and support our local artists. Proceeds will benefit future public art projects in Mills 50!

Bring Your Pup to our Pup Crawl & Costume Contest!

Show off your pups at our Pup Crawl and Costume Contest on Sunday, October 23 from 1pm until 6pm! Purchase a wristband for $5 at Quantum Leap Winery, 1312 Wilfred Drive to take advantage of specials at fourteen (14) Mills 50 bars, restaurants and businesses! The first 50 dogs, accompanied by an adult, will receive a complimentary Halloween bandana! Prizes will be awarded to the three “best dressed” pups! 100% of the wristband sales will be donated to Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando!

Welcome Fall at The Almost Fall Fest

Celebrate the beginning of Fall at The Almost Fall Fest on Sunday, September 18 from 1pm until 6pm in front of Quantum Leap Winery. Presented by OUC, this free, community event features local vendors & artists, food vendors, including Anna’s Empanadas, PhatAsh Bakes and Let’s Dough It and live entertainment by Justin Moyar, Brews Clues and Beth McKee and her Funky Time Band. The Guesthouse will be serving cocktails! Grab a Ten 10 beer or two at the Mills 50 tent. Quantum Leap will be open, serving wine & cider. This is a family friendly, dog friendly event! Come out and spend the afternoon!

Educe Salon has moved into their new location at 1901 E. Colonial Drive. Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and City Commissioner Patty Sheehan celebrated the move by cutting a ribbon and taking a tour with owners Phillip and Alicia Rosado! Track Shack celebrates 45 years in business!

Congratulations to Jon & Betsy Hughes, owners of Track Shack on celebrating 45 years of service to our community!

Track Shack opened in 1977 at 1313 N. Mills and moved to its current location at 1104 N. Mills in July, 1996.

In 1994, the Track Shack Youth Foundation was established with the purpose of promoting health and fitness with an emphasis on youth programs. Since then, the Foundation has contributed over $2 million into the greater Central Florida community.
